Our Elders enjoyed a night out on the town at the Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Byrdstown. Elder Charlene Martin, also the oldest living resident of Byrdstown, was given the honor to flip the switch, lighting the town’s Christmas tree!

Elders & stakeholders from Harmony House neighborhood held their annual Thanksgiving meal. Elders from Harmony House look forward to time together, just their neighborhoods & stakeholders sitting down together for a meal. Elders choose the menu & stakeholders bring the food. Harmony elders are already planning their Christmas gathering!
On November 8, we held their annual Hall of Fame Café ceremony. We inducted 3 distinguished individuals into the Hall of Fame Café! This program honors the lives and accomplishments of elders, stakeholders, and community leaders who have helped impact the community in various ways. This year, we inducted Ms. Rebecca Greer, Dr. Larry Mason, & Mrs. Johnnie Alline Keisling! Each of these individuals have greatly impacted Pickett County over the years with dedicated service and commitments to their community.
