Family Letters
Exceptional Staff
From Patricia Albertson, daughter of Audie Pyles:
Melanie Davis, LPN, she not only is exceptional with my mother, but with all the Elders I see her with.
“I am grateful for each and every one of the staff on my mother’s hall, I feel like I could call any of them at any time if I needed to.”
Exceptional Stakeholders
From Ruby Gibson, daughter of Naomi Winningham:
Germaine Reneau, Melissa Jackson, Sandra Butler, Tiffany Binkley, Rebecca Greer, Julie Brown, & Libby Strickland, all of these girls have been so good to both my mother & father. They are very very good workers.
“Brittany Short has been putting makeup on mother, just doing something extra to try to make mother feel better. She is really good, always running around working hard.”
Family of Allen Shearer
Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation we have for the care you provided to Daddy. We were so blessed to have you provide his care. It was so difficult to place Daddy in LTC. However, I believe he was happy there. The doctors at UK told us that Daddy would not walk again and that he was not expected to live more than a few weeks or months. Thanks to the physical therapy department and the nurses for proving them wrong.
We were always greeted by Shirley’s smiling face and made to feel welcome. Daddy was there for six years and two months. We never worried because we knew he was getting wonderful compassionate care.
Heartfelt Gratitude for Excellent Care
Pickett County Care and Rehab Staff,
I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for the excellent care which you gave my dad, Riley Combest, during his stay at your facility. I know that he received the best possible care and that each of you gave one hundred percent of yourselves to see that he was as comfortable as possible. The compassion and concern shown to him and to my wife and me was remarkable, and we will never forget what you did. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful facility with it’s competent and caring staff in our area.
