Our Easter Celebration was filled with a “Good Friday” of festivities. We started the morning off by hiding and preparing for the Home School Group’s Egg Hunt. It was a great turn out with around 30 participants. Elders really enjoyed hiding the eggs and watching the children hunt. The day was also filled with a Good Friday Bible Study with Ruth Storie, music by Fontella Storie, and communion by Pastor John Stone JR and Martha Simmons. The elders later enjoyed their own egg hunt with a special visitor, the Easter Bunny. He stopped in for a short visit, enjoying some cake and punch and visiting with each elder. A special thank you to Ma & Pa’s Florist for sending the Easter Bunny our way!
