On Thursday 21st Camp Pickett visited Bunkum Cave. Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Carl Burgess lead the Nature Walk on the trail to Bunkum Cave, teaching the kids about leaves, trees, and nature itself. They stopped in for an ice cream treat at the DQ to cool off! On Friday 22nd, the kids visited Cordell Hull Birthplace for the Jr. Ranger program’s Snake exhibit. Everyone got learn about snakes that live in Tennessee, how to distinguish between venomous & non-venomous snakes, and even pet & hold the snakes if they wished.
