Several elders at Pickett Care & Rehab joined other Signature Healthcare Elders for the “5th Annual Regional Camp Out” at historic Standing Stone State Park. The elders began with an outdoor cook-out by the river with fellow friends and family. Everyone gathered around for the fun activities which included the hee-haw show, roasting smores over the open camp fire, and the making of each facilities “flag.” It was a special time for us all, but especially for our elders who enjoyed taking in the majestic scenery that this Fall Season has displayed for us. There is no substitute for the beauty of nature, but even more beautiful was watching our amazing elders enjoy it.
