The “Camp Pickett” invaded PCR on June 2nd. Camp Pickett is a two month summer intergenerational program designed to benefit Elders, staff and their children. The children (who attend while their parents work) are involved in varies activities throughout the day with the Elders both inside and outside of the facility. They have gone to Standing Stone Park for a day of fun enjoying a picnic, wading in the creek and crawdad hunting. They also had a pool party at the home of staff member, Chrissy Smith, RN.
