Last fall, about 100 residents and caregivers from 22 homes in Signature HealthCARE’s Rural Segment embarked on a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with one thing in mind: the adventure of a lifetime.

On September 4, 2009, residents from Pickett Care and Rehabilitation Center spent the morning at Mullin’s Apple Orchard. Residents had a fantastic time making their way through the orchard and picking apples of their choice. Each Resident had a bag overflowing with red and green apples by the end of the adventure. They were able to spend the rest of the week making apple butter, apple pies, and much more! The team and residents from Pickett Care and Rehabilitation Center extend a sincere thank you to Mullin’s Orchard for the apples and the hospitability!
